Thursday – Wadowice Arrival in Krakow. Private Transfer to Karmelite Monastery in Wadowice, home town of future Pope, Karol Wojtyla. This afternoon meet your private guide for Holy Thursday Mass with foot-washing at Kalwaria Zebrzydowska Shrine of Christ’s Passion and Mary (Subject to arrival time.) Lenten dinner at Monastery or local restaurant. B/D

Good Friday – Wadowice Passion Play on Avenue of Christ’s Passion at Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. (Alternate devotions for mobility challenged). Breakfast at Kalwaria Pilgrims House dining room. Begin Divine Mercy Novena (Daily on bus, or with Monks or Sisters) led by Deacon Dick Petersen. Quiet Lenten Dinner at Monastery or local restaurant. B/D

Note: Bi-lingual Mass Books provided for all Polish language Masses. Masses celebrated by your Spiritual Director in English.

Saturday – Wadowice Breakfast at Monastery. Tour of Wadowice, Wojtyla Family Home Museum, Family Church Basilica of Presentation of Mary. Possible food Blessing with local families. Quiet Lenten Dinner at Local Restaurant. B/D

Easter Sunday – Krakow Resurrection Mass at Basilica. Light Breakfast at Monastery. Welcome Dinner, Traditional Easter Meal at Karzma Restaurant in Wadowice. Transfer to Krakow, overview tour of City Center (Stare Rynek), then to accommodations at Divine Mercy Pilgrims House in Lagiewniki. B/D

Monday – Krakow Greater Krakow City tout featuring venues associated with St. John Paul the Great. Breakfast at Pilgrims House. Debniki 10 apartment he shared with father, Zakrzoweic, site of Solvay Quarry (now a reservoir), Wojtyla family crypts, Living Arc Church in Nowa Huta, Albertine Convent (Ecce Homo of St. Brother Albert “Our God’s Little Brother”,) Julius Krydynski’s apartment where Rhapsodic Theater group performed cultural and patriotic drama, St. Florian’s Church, St. Stanislaw Kostka Church of Jan Tarnowski, Tyniec Monastery, Dinner at Pilgrims House or Local Restaurant B/D

Tuesday – Krakow Breakfast at Pilgrims House Guided tour of Wawel Castle and Cathedral, Bishops Residence – Franciskanska 3, Jagiellonian University Collegium Maius, St. Francis Church Stations of the Cross, Mariacka Basilika, Cloth Hall, Dinner at Pilgrims House or local resident B/D

Wednesday – Krakow Breakfast at Pilgrims House. Day trip Czestochowa, Jasna Gora Monastery. Guided Tour of Shrine and Monastery and Museum. Mass Celebrated at Altar of Black Madonna, Presided in English by your Spiritual Director. Return to Krakow by way of “Route of the Eagles” and dinner at private restaurant in “Jurassic Park”.

Thursday – Krakow Breakfast at Pilgrims House. Jewish Heritage Day. Guided Tour of Kaszmierz and Podgorze, Schindler’s Factory, Old Cemetery and Synagogue, Kaszmierz Market Square. Kleszmer Dinner and Music at Ariel Hotel Restaurant. B/D/W

Friday – Krakow Breakfast at Pilgrims House. Morning Liturgy with Sisters of Mercy. Guided Tour of Convent and St. John Paul the Great Sanctuary “Be Not Afraid”. Polish Heritage Day. Ethnographic Museum. Skalka Cathedral. St. Katherine’s Basilica. Dinner Pilgrims House B/D

Saturday – Krakow Breakfast at Pilgrims House. Half Day Each Guided tours of Auschwitz Museum and Wieliszca Salt Mines (and Negowiec) or Free Time in City Center for those opting out of either or both. Dinner on Own. B

Sunday – Celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday with the Sisters at The Sanctuary. Dinner at Wesele Restaurant in City Center. B/D/W

Monday – Krakow Breakfast at Pilgrims House. Free day in Krakow . Revisit favorite places. Shop in Center. Lviv Chocolate Factory. Private day trips to visit relatives or family roots (arranged, but not included in package price) Farewell dinner at Marmalada Restaurant.. B/D/W

Sunday – Travel Day. Breakfast at Pilgrims House. Transfer to Airport for flight home, or extend pilgrimage in Poland, or elsewhere.
