Krakow and Rome

You can schedule this Pilgrimage for your group. It can be customized for you. Cost depends on season, your detail itinerary and number of Pilgrims.For information call Mike at 602-819-7473 or email.
Day 1 and 2 Fly to Kraków, Transfer to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. Spend day relaxing at the Sanctuary, walking the ‘Avenues’ of Passions of Christ and Mary.

Day 3 –Excursion to Auschwitz Memorial and to Wadowice, Birthplace of Karol Wojtyla (John Paul II)

Day 4 – Excursion to Poland’s Alps, Zakopane in the Tatras Mountains. Karol’s favorite getaway to trek or ski. Incredible views from the mountain top, sumptuous regional feast at alpine chalet, dance with Highlanders in regional dress.

Day 5 – Excursion to a fabulous UNESCO World Heritage Site, Wieliczka Salt Mines, guided tour of mines. Transfer to boutique hotel in Kraków’s prime location. Discover charming 13th Century Old Town, great restaurants and shopping in the Centrum.

Day 6 – Guided tour of Poland’s most visited venue, historic Wawel Castle and Cathedral. Diocesan Museum and John Paul II Center. More free time in ‘Centrum’.

Day 7 – Excursion to Divine Mercy Shrine and Basilica. Convent where Fastina Kowalska experienced apparitions and site of her reliquary.(Note: Inquire as to criteria if your Parish or Apostolate wishes to acquire Relic of St. Faustina.) Guided tour of Saint John Paul II’s Sanctuary “Be Not Afraid” next door.

Day 8 – Excursion to Ethnographic Museum, Jewish Heritage sites (Kaszmierz and Schindler’s Factory), Arka Pana Church built in Communist city Nowa Huta where churches were prohibited after determined pressure by Polish people and leadership of the future Pope.

Day 9 – Excursion to Częstoshowa, Guided tour of Jasna Góra Monastery and Black Madonna. Mass at Her Main Altar.

Day 10 – Fly to Rome, Transfer to boutique hotel in historic Spanish Steps near Trevi Fountain. Local guided tour of Classic/Imperial Rome.

Day 11 – Day at the Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica. Premium guided tour with many unique accesses such as Vatican Gardens and avoid lines. Lunch at the Vatican.

Day 12 – Catholic Rome : St. John in The Lateran, St. Paul Outside the Walls, Santa Maria Maggiore. Balance of day for shopping and sight-seeing.Oct 16 – Catholic Rome Tour – Customized Guided Tour of Uniquely Catholic Venues Group to decide: Full Day Tour or Half-day tour with half-day free time in Rome.

Day 13 – General Audience of Pope (If he is in Rome) with Balance of the day free for shopping and sight-seeing. If the Pope is not in Rome, then another event will be substituted.

Day 14 – Return Home
